One of the important topics discussed in the philosophy of religion is the language used in religious books about Allah Almighty and whether the words and phrases used in the chapter on the Divine Command have the same meaning as when these words are used for other creatures? There are different views on this. Among them, some of the important views found among Western scholars include: the meaninglessness of the language of religion (the theory of logical positivism), incomprehensibility, symbolic language, negative theology, allegory and functionalism. This debate has continued among various Islamic theological sects in addition to Western scholars, and different views of the Ash'arites, Mu'tazilites and Imamites have emerged in this chapter. In this article, an attempt has been made to explain these topics analytically and some issues in a descriptive manner with great detail.
