Aag Ka Darya: The best example of philosophical debate (a beautiful expression of the presentation of the principles of philosophy)

Abstract

Qurat-ul-Ain Haider is an important name in the Urdu literary world and his literary identity as a novelist is permanent. Aag Ka Darya is a masterpiece  of Qurat-ul-Ain Haider that has made its identity in many respects, but a great literary work is one whose every reading introduces the reader to new aspects. Aag Ka Darya is a novel written on a large canvas with many themes. How is the novelist introduced as a philosopher in Aag Ka Darya and how are philosophical concepts and thoughts directly made the subject? This article has tried to find those themes that are present in the novel as the history of philosophy and directly make the principles of philosophy their place in the form of fiction. And it has been tried to see to what extent the author has succeeded in presenting philosophy in the form of fiction.
