Abstract

Since Western culture and thought play a significant role in the modern world, it is imperative that they be introduced and understood. What do we mean by "Western thought and civilization" when we use this phrase? In other words, as some have used it in this context, do we mean the particular life

 occurrences that a country has adopted? What does the term "West" also mean? The scientific community needs to know the answers to the following questions: Does western civilization refer to the civilization of people who live in a certain region, and why is it necessary to understand this civilization? This topic has been selected with this need in mind.

Since many Muslim and non-Muslim intellectuals have written in this area, it is necessary to characterize Western philosophy and culture from their points of view in order to address these issues. This is this research paper's main goal.
